I use Chrome as my main browser (on windows) and I haven't seen this before. Can you try temporarily disabling all of your add-ons/extensions to see if that makes a difference? If you navigate to chrome://flash/ what is displayed?
Couldn’t load plugin in Chrome in Windows 10 8 7

I can confirm this issue. It is occurring on two stations (PC and laptop). Tried uninstalling flash + uninstalling chrome + delete chrome user data + restart + install chrome -> works for maybe 30 minutes but then the "pluggin couldnt load" message returns. Tried this several times. Every time it works for a bit and then the bug resumes. Must be something with the recent update.
Anyway when trying to run my storyline files in chrome on our network I am getting the "can't load plugin" message. It doesn't seem to happen on other networks some of our users use but is happening on my network.
I fixed the same problem just now, 'could not load plugin' in Chrome. This seems to be a Flash plugin error as it also presents itself when loading flash into Chrome from elsewhere on this one machine. Turning off Chrome extensions did not solve the problem. To get around the problem, this is what I did: In Storyline 360 I made sure that the Publish settings are set to 'HTML5 / Flash' instead of 'Flash / HTML5'. This bypassed the broken flash problem altogether by loading the Storyline content in HTML 5. I have other Windows 10 machines with Chrome here but the problem just occurred with this one machine, not sure why. I hope this gets round the problem for you! :-)
What steps will reproduce the problem?1. Install Native Client SDK: -client/sdk/2. Start web server with demo applications3. Browse to local server with cefclient, and it cannot load the plugin.
Also, if you look at the 'Plugin Info' page in cefclient, many plugins are listed but not Native Client; compare this with regular chrome 'about://flags', which does say there is a Native Client plugin installed.
Any update on this issue? I'm getting "Browser does not support NaCl (newlib), or NaCl is disabled" when running the getting started part2 in cef, while it works in chrome. I also confirm the plugin is not present in the 'Plugin Info' page.
Adding NaCl support will require code changes in CEF. Usage of the "DISABLE_NACL" macro in src/chrome can provide rough guidance on the necessary changes: =DISABLE_NACL%20src/chrome&sq=package:chromium&type=cs. Note that in-process and out-of-process plugin loading uses different code paths (see related comments on issue comment 13.31).
I experienced "missing plugins" in browsers running under Ubuntu and Windows. Under Firefox running Win7, it asked to download plugin due to security sets in browser. In OS X it worked without "missing plugin" issue, however videos were too large (1280x800) and taken too long to load. When finally loaded it played cropped. Some instances had 10 videos in the same space page.
Moreover, a good number of users reported that media on the sites affected by the plugin issue started loading up and playing after they cleared Chrome browsing data. Hopefully, you too get the same result with the task here. These are the instructions you must follow to clear the browsing data in Chrome:
With the IE tab extension, you will be able to access websites as if they were being loaded up in the Internet Explorer application. Since the plugin problems are nonexistent in Internet Explorer, you will no longer experience them in Chrome after you visit the affected websites using the IE tab extension.
To update root certificates in Windows 7, you must first download and install MSU update KB2813430 ( -us/topic/an-update-is-available-that-enables-administrators-to-update-trusted-and-disallowed-ctls-in-disconnected-environments-in-windows-0c51c702-fdcc-f6be-7089-4585fad729d6)
Firefox XPCOM error description: Firefox couldn't open and the following error is displayed on screen: "Couldn't load XPCOM". The XPCOM error, may caused on a Windows based computer whenever a user tries to open Mozilla Firefox after a Windows Update or if the Firefox's profile folder is corrupted. Firefox's profile folder corruption may happen after a virus attack or after installing a third party extension on your Firefox browser.
2. If Firefox starts without the XPCOM error message, then probably a Firefox extension (add-on) causes the "Couldn't load XPCOM" error. At this case, disable one-by-one the installed Add-ons and then close and start Firefox normally, until you find out which plugin causes the problem.
If the feed appears, the error is coming from other plugins or your theme and is preventing the feed from loading. Try disabling other plugins and/or your theme to figure out which is causing the error. 2ff7e9595c
